Matt Fairless represents private and government clients primarily on litigation matters, including general commercial and business disputes. His experience includes trials on complex litigation, including defense of civil rights and discrimination claims, white-collar criminal, professional negligence, construction, mechanics’ lien, municipal law and real estate matters.

Matt obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1988 from the University of Missouri-Columbia with honors in English and Economics. In 1991, he received his J.D. from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law, serving as a member of the Missouri Law Review.

Matt is licensed to practice law in the states of Missouri and Illinois and has argued matters before all of the Missouri Courts of Appeal and the Missouri Supreme Court. He is a member of The Missouri Bar, the Illinois Bar, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, the Missouri Municipal Attorneys’ Association and the Missouri Associate of Fire Protection Districts. Matt was born and raised in St. Charles, Missouri, where he currently resides.
